NXP, the trusted partner for innovative solutions in the automotive, industrial & IoT, mobile, and communications infrastructure markets, brings its high performance SAF9100 audio solution for automotive infotainment into the collaboration. The SAF9100 introduces the latest-generation automotive, AI and machine learning (ML) capable audio DSP technology, integrating a neural network engine and hardware-based accelerators.  It supports an easy integration for manufacturers looking to accelerate the development and deployment of premium audio and voice control solutions.

The partnership will focus on integrating Goodix's complete automotive software solution into NXP’s SAF9100 audio DSP:

• CarComfort - Road Noise Cancellation (RNC) and Engine Noise Cancellation (ENC)

• CarVoice - Echo Cancellation and Noise Reduction for phone calls and voice recognition (ECNR), In-Car Communication (ICC), Karaoke and Keyword Spotting (wake-up word solution)

• CarSound - Sound Stage for multimedia playback

This integration will provide OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers with a fast track approach to adopting sophisticated voice, noise vibration and harness (NVH) and infotainment audio systems. By leveraging these capabilities, the collaboration aims to reduce development time and enhance overall performance for end users.

Goodix and NXP offered live demonstrations of their AI/ML-enhanced voice technologies, giving customers a hands-on opportunity to explore the future of automotive audio innovation.
