Senior Sales Manager


Job Description

• Drive profitable revenue growth for assigned customers through technical sales strategies

• Develop and expand long-term customer relationships to support new projects and ensure customer satisfaction

• Engage in consultative selling with technically-oriented customers and utilize technical expertise to address customer needs

• Manage customer projects using CRM (Salesforce) and provide technical insights during sales discussions

• Demonstrate technical expertise and provide insights to customers on product features and technical capabilities, identifying customized solutions for technical requirements

• Negotiate pricing agreements

• Develop and achieve sales forecast targets with a technical understanding of the products

• Provide first-level technical and quality support for customers in collaboration with FAE locally

• Communicate promotion strategies internally through the use of sales tools

• Collaborate with all functional groups at all levels (FAE, Marketing, QA, etc.) to address critical product and customer issues

• Work closely with customers to understand their use cases and requirements, and collaborate with internal R&D and marketing teams to enhance future product development




Qualification Requirement

• University graduate or equivalent knowledge and experience (Electrical Engineering background)

• 15 years or more of technical sales experience supporting or working with Samsung, with a strong relationship with procurement team leaders and R&D team leaders

• Demonstrated deep understanding of technical details including touch IC, fingerprint technology, Smart PA, HW/FW tuning, and algorithm updates

• Adaptable sales strategies tailored to customer requirements and engineering progress to target flagship models with an EE background and technical understanding of the products

• Strong and proven sales track record with a background in value selling

• Good technical background with an understanding of key technical knowledge

• Good business sense and general understanding of sales, marketing, and marketing communications

• Proven strategic selling skills

• Ability to understand and translate customer requirements

• Collaborative work with Global teams – Quality, FAE, Supply Chain, Marketing

• Self-standing capability in winning new business with technical background/experiences

• Liaison capability with internal teams (BU, quality, operation) and customers (R&D, procurement)

• Leadership capability to lead/orchestrate FAEs and QE

• Strong self-assurance, confidence, enthusiasm, energy, proactive, self-motivated, teamwork skills

• Proficient in English for written and oral communications
