Job Description
• Design lean, modular algorithms for advanced control and sensing applications.
• Think on a system level to identify opportunities for product improvement across mechanical, electrical, and algorithmic domains.
• Fast-prototype solutions to meet end-user needs and technical challenges.
• Prepare proofs of concepts to influence product roadmaps.
• Ensure practicality of solutions considering manufacturing challenges and embedded platform constraints.
• Refine existing concepts and explore new ideas to expand product potential.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Occasional travel to Asia and the US for customer meetings and team collaboration.
Qualification Requirement
• Relevant university degree with at least 5 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in algorithm design using Matlab (must-have) and Python (secondary).
• Hands-on experience with experimental setups and functional testing.
• Understanding of DSP, embedded systems, and numerical architectures.
• Familiarity with version control systems and configuration management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively within an international team (fluent written and spoken English is a must).
• Experience with 3D modeling, PCB design, and prototype development is a plus.
• Knowledge of FEA aiding tools and electrodynamic transducer design/control is advantageous.
