GH3300 is an ultra-low-power, ultra-high-precision and multi-modal analog front end, capable of PPG, ECG, Bio-Z (BIA, IPG and EDA) measurement. The flexible operating mode enabling the AFE to accommodate various sensors measurements including temperature sensors. It is applicable to the smart devices like high-end smart watches and wristbands, multi-parameter monitor, and hand-held ECG monitor.

  • PPG signal chain

    • 4 independent PPG channels with simultaneous sampling to allow less LED on-time

    • Support 4 differential or 8 single-ended PD inputs multiplexing to PPG channels

    • 4 high-resolution 24-bit ADCs for simultaneous conversion

    • Ultra low dark current noise of <14 pArms

    • 4 LED drivers support up to 16 LEDs, 200 mA peak drive current for each driver

    • High system SNR of >110 dB to ensure accurate PPG monitoring

    • Up to 128 samples per cycle, over 80 dB ambient light rejection ratio

  • ECG signal chains

    • 1 channel DC mode ECG or AC mode ECG adapted to 1-lead ECG signal acquisition

    • DC mode RTI noise: 1.67 μVrms @ 1 * gain

    • AC mode RTI noise: 1.25 μVrms @ 20 * gain

    • ECG input impedance of 10 GΩ and DC input range of ±1300 mV for dry electrode application

  • Impedance measurement signal chains

    • Programmable BIA TX built-in current excitation source with frequency up to 1 MHz

    • Ultra-low noise INA with high pass filter

    • 4-electrode impedance measurement for portable BIA and support contact impedance measurement

    • Built-in Analog I/Q demodulator provide complex (I, Q) impedance data

    • EDA channel reuse DC mode /AC mode ECG channel with additional current excitation source (EDA TX) of low frequency excitation

    • Support digital I/Q demodulation for complex (I, Q) impedance data extraction

    • Support on-chip CORDIC

  • Build-in functions

    • Automatic LED dimming and AGC (automatic gain control)

    • Lead detection and Right leg driver for ECG

    • Lead detection support external input buffer
